Chinese capital rules
- Financial amounts use 零壹贰叁肆伍陆柒捌玖 instead of 0-9 to prevent tampering.
- Consecutive zeros in the middle are written as a single 零, e.g. 1001 reads 壹仟零壹.
- When the 元 digit is 0 but 角/分 are not, write 零 after 元, e.g. 1.05 → 壹元零伍分.
- Amounts stop at 分; when both 角 and 分 are 0, add 整 after 元, e.g. 1.00 → 壹元整.
- The integer part is grouped every four digits with 万 and 亿 as section units.
- Negative numbers start with 负, e.g. -1234.56 → 负壹仟贰佰叁拾肆元伍角陆分.
